About Our Escape Rooms

What is an escape room experience?

It is a real-life adventure.  Players are situated in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues in a collaborative way with teammates and escape the room within a set time limit. Our rooms have a unique story line that engages the players through the environment. 

Can I play the same room more than once?

Yes, however, the clues and puzzles will be the same.

Are the rooms scary and will anyone touch me?

This adventure has many thrills but we don’t have any actors in the room with you. Nothing will pop out at you, nor will you be touched. The Haunted Theatre does have a spooky vibe and The Devil’s Den may be scary for some. If you don’t want any jump scares be sure to tell your guide

Are the rooms wheelchair friendly?

Yes, all primary rooms are wheelchair accessible. Please note that some interior passageways connecting to additional rooms have widths of less than 28 inches, which will not accommodate all mobility devices. The most wheelchair friendly experiences are: Murder of 89, The Devil's Den, The Island, and The Pirate's Chamber. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 484-225-7193.

What is the difficulty Level for each experience?

This is hard to answer as there are many variables. What some think is easy could be super challenging to others, depending where you are on your escape journey. Number of players and escape room experience are two major factors that can impact the challenge level greatly. Also, some groups prefer to not use hints while other teams like lots of guidance.

Reviewing our escape rates from 2022, it looks like the Soul Collector, Casino Challenge and Haunted Theatre are the rooms to book if looking for a challenge. If you are looking for something more lighthearted perhaps check out The Island, Mayan Temple or Pirate’s Chamber. If you are looking to increase your chances of escaping increase your player count. Play lots of room.

Paying and Playing

Can we add players to our original reservation?
Yes! We are currently only running private experiences. Once you purchase the room minimum, the other unsold tickets get shut down from the general public and are only available for you to purchase. We can add tickets at check-in.
Can I still play an experience if we don't have enough players to meet the room minimum?
Yes, you can still play. However, you will still need to pay the base rental for the room which equals the minimum number of players. You will then need to divide the cost among the players.
How much is the admission?
$34.99 per player, plus ticketing fee. Group Rates: 15+ players (Tues-Thurs) 10% off, 20+ players (Fri-Sun) 10% off
Will other people be in the room with us?

No, we are currently only running Private Experiences at no extra cost when you book the room minimum. You can add additional players on the day of your experience, as those tickets will be closed and only available to you. Don’t have enough players to meet the room minimum, no problem, you would pay the flat room rental rate (which is the same rate as the minimum number of players).

What's your refund policy?
All transactions are final. In other words, we do not issue refunds. However, the tickets are transferable for you to sell in the event you cannot attend. We can attempt to sell the tickets on your behalf. If we sell them you would receive a voucher for a future visit. The more time we have to sell them, the better.
What time do I need to arrive? What if I am late?
The timer in your room starts at your scheduled session time. Check-in is 10 minutes prior to your timer start. We will start with a debriefing and prepare you for your adventure. For this reason, please leave ample time for traffic and parking. If you are late, your experience will be shortened as we have a specific schedule to keep. Please notify us if you are running late.
Are walk-ins welcome?
The best way to book a room is through our website in advance. If a room is available we will accept walk-ins. We do have a strict schedule to keep. If you plan to come as a walk-in, please arrive a minimum of 10 minutes prior to the timer start.
Do you accept cash?
A room can only be reserved with full payment. If you would like to pay cash, you would need to pay in advance or pay as a walk-in. Also, please bring exact amount as we don’t have change. Additionally, we do recommend reservations as sessions sell out quickly.

About Captured LV

Do children need a chaperone?

Children under 14 years old need an adult chaperone (18+) in the room. Everyone entering the experience will need an admission pass.

Is there parking?

Bethlehem :

There is metered parking along Broad and Main Street, as well as two parking garages:

North Street Garage – 75 W. North St.

Walnut Street Garage- 33 W. Walnut St.

So, please leave ample time for traffic and parking as sessions start promptly.

Allentown:

Large parking lot with plenty of free parking.

Can I bring in food or beverages?

No food or beverages inside of the rooms.

What are your hours?

Tuesday – Thursday: 4:30pm – 8:30pm

Friday: 4:30pm – 10:00pm

Saturday: 12:00 pm – 10:00pm

Sunday: 12:00pm – 7:00pm

Plan on being at Captured LV Escape Room for 80 minutes.

Can we book a room outside of your normal hours?

This is entirely possible. Please give us a call at (610) 419-0449 or send us an email at capturedlv@gmail.comwith your request so we can set up your private party. We will do everything possible to accommodate your schedule.

What is the age minimum?

Our escape rooms are designed for adults. So, to ensure the rooms are challenging for all, this activity might be especially difficult for children under 16. Lastly, no child under the age of 8 is permitted inside of the escape rooms. This includes infants and toddlers. Sorry, no exceptions!

Do you host parties?

Yes, we would love to host your party! We can add junior clues per your request. Parties in Bethlehem enjoy many of the amazing restaurants along Main Street. Our Allentown location is also conveniently located near many eateries as well. To discuss and customize your special event, call Lori at 484-225-7193.

Anything else I should know?

Access to the escape room is PROHIBITED and refused to, but not limited to, people who:

  • Are under the influence of illegal drugs or any other illegal substances.
  • Engage in fighting or disruptive behavior.
  • Are suffering from alcohol intoxication which, in staff’s sole discretion, has caused you to be in an impaired state.
  • Those who bring a child under the age of 8 years old.
  • If you damage the room on purpose, the card on file will be fine for the damages.

Do you donate gift certificates to non-profit organizations?

Yes! Stop by the location of your choice on Tuesdays between 4:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. Bring your Tax ID letter, and you will receive one $35 gift certificate (valid anytime) or one $70 gift certificate (valid Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).
